LoongArch Biweekly

Biweekly Meetings for Community Developers and Hobbyists

The LoongArch Biweekly is a regular community meeting organized by Loongson hobbyists. The meeting agenda comprises updates on upstream projects, Linux distro (and other OS projects), and community affairs. The reports are generally followed by contributor discussions and Q&A sessions.

The LoongArch Biweekly (Chinese session) is held every other Sunday at 14:00 (UTC+8) on Tencent Meeting, generally avoiding Chinese mainland state holidays with significant travel expected (e.g. Spring Festival and National Day) and workdays in lieu. Shared materials are prepared on the Kingsoft Docs platform.

The Chinese session is livestreamed and archived on Bilibili page @龙芯爱好者社区 ("Loongson Hobbyists Community"). Offline meetings are also arranged from time to time.

For developers around the globe, the community also arranges an international session, held every other Thursday at 13:00 (UTC) on Zoom. Shared materials are prepared with Google Slides, and replays are archived on Bilibili, YouTube, and VK when available.

TIP

The working language for the Chinese session is Standard Chinese (Putonghua / Mandarin); for the International session it is English by default, with Russian also available. All language backgrounds are welcome in both sessions -- many attendees speak multiple languages. If you would like to present in another language, please reach out!
